Following requests for an Avia 57 paintkit, this is it.

Fully layered Photoshop psd files for all exterior and main interior texture surfaces.

Suggested layer positions included; 'YOURMARKINGS' are there as blank layers - but may be experimented with depending on how much wear and tear you wish to influence your paintscheme.

We our hope those wishing to enter the world of texturing for the very first time, will be encouraged to explore layers, which should provide a hands-on 'tutorial'.

So get some good reference pics, fire-up Photoshop and enjoy going creative for YOUR AVIA-57 paint schemes.
And remember; FS is for sharing - we'd love to see the results of YOUR work.

Enjoy being creative - have fun!

Heh-heh-hehhhh.....Thank you, Nigel!

I've had ideas and a dusty photoshop sitting in the corner. Never tried it before on FS things. The Avia's been a real incentive maker for the imagination.

Thanks for your hard work. I wonder what baby steps I could make with it.....

You're more than welcome my friend.

Thank YOU for the awesome things you did, especially the floater!!!

Time to blow away the old cobwebs and fire-up Photoshop, it'll be a refreshing pleasure to see some nice textures for the Avia sisters.

Anything you need re Photoshop, please don't hesitate.

Just what I needed Nigel!
What a great opportunity not to come up with any excuses any more.
I'll get 'experimenting'... :)

Cheers, Stuart

Thanks Nigel! I'm always looking for improvement in painting especially from a artist such as you!!!

Thank you Nigel. Downloaded from Milton's site as it doesn't seem to be up yet here. Have one question though, I've been through the all the parts of the kit twice and unless I've gone completely blind it seems to be missing the texture sheets for the fuselage outer skins?

Al

Hello Nigel,
Thank you for the paintkit. I really enjoy Milton's 57s and your wonderful texture sets.
Alpha-Victor-Charlie, the hard-working Avia company demonstrator looks good on
floats and sold several airlines on the idea.

Nigel:

Thank You for availing the AVIA-57 Photoshop Paintkit :salute: My only problem is i'm PhotoShop illiterate (LOL!) & partially color-blind. But I would love to see a repaint of the "Juneau" & "Buffalo Airways" on the AVIA57 (Floats).

Thank You kindly for pointing out my omission, Al.

My sincere appologies to those who have downloaded the paintkit.
I have provided a link for the missing file; fuse_t. paintkit1.0

https://docs.google.com/open?id=0B3eZGd5eHgMLWmdwTTc0UTRQLVU

I'm now uploading a revised Avia57 paintkit and will ask Rami to kindly remove the previous one from SOH archives.

EDIT: The revised paintkit has now been uploaded to SOH archives; Avia57paintkit-REV.zip and will be downloadable following the usual clearing proccess.

Milton, I clicked on "File" at the top left of the page. At the bottom of the dropdown there is a "download" arrow. I was puzzled at first too.

I am referring to the new upload in the Addons library. Instead of uploading the archive here, Nigel points to the Google Docs location.

When you click on the new download link, you receive an invalid redirect message.

Maybe you cannot see the new add on entry yet?

EDIT: I also deleted the original upload with the missing file.
I also updated my website with the corrected version of the paint kit:

Curious...I just tried the above link and the one in the library - they both link me straight to the download.

Oh well, just have to re-upload here I guess.

Thanks Nigel.
Terrific work you've (and everyone involved) done on the 57. Fantastic array of Czech aircraft :)

That includes yourself, OleBoy - I love your work for the '51 and '156.

I wish there were more texture versions available for the 'Nimble Avia' 156...anything planned?
