Carenado - Short 360 - Released

The mighty "Air Pig"! Ugly as sin but reliable and safe. We used to refuel the ones owned by American Eagle back in the late 1989 onward which replaced the old Metroliners. I flew on a couple on the short haul route ILM to RDU. It was our local/state small airport workhorse.
 
I also did my first test flight.

It seems Carenado is finally listening to the buyers. The FDE are really not bad at first sight and I like the systems in cockpit too.

Nice Aircraft! Miss a cargo too.

Panel can only be described as 'sparse' but it seems to work OK.
FDE is basic but I am happy enough with the complete package as the number of variations is comprehensive.

i have the virtucol shorts package somewhere for a while now Ive had another vc merged due to how basic and dated it was now I can put a real shorts vc in it

Today D-CRAS is in service with Air Cargo Alliance as N744LG. Yes, we need a real -300F freighter version...

Let me know how this works out. I like the 330 but would also like a nice vc in it.

works no probs

its a relatively simple process ( i dont know how your system is structured so heres the very basic guide )

1, copy the eyepoint from the carenado aircraft.cfg (eyepoint = 18.2, -1.3, -3.0) and overwrite the virtualcols entry
2, copy the SD3-60_interior.MDL from the model folder and paste it into all the virtulcol model folders
3, either replace the interior=(entry) to interior=SD3-60_interior in the model.cfg or rename the SD3-60_interior.mdl to what ever the virtualcol int model is
3, rename the panel and sound folders for the virtualcol models and then copy and paste the carenado sound and panel folder into each of them
4, copy the contents of the carenado sd3-60 texture.common and paste it into the primary virtualcol texture folder in each of the models
5, option copy and paste the sd3-60.air into each of the folders and then rename it to the pre-existing air file or change the entry in the aircaft.cfg to reflect sim=sd3-60

once you done that and your happy its working, just delete those unwanted folders or files from the virtualcol folders

thats it
