Central Europe '61 scenery nearing completion

Hi there,

For more than two years now a team of avid CalClassic scenery designers (a.o. Harry Biard, Nikko Yaginuma, Wolfgang Gersch, Tom Gibson, Michael Schneider, Jaap de Baare) has been working on a huge project: Central Europe 1961. This scenery is about to be intensively trialed by a designated Beta team. Exactly when it will be available is depending on the results of the Beta testing, but it won't be too long.

Attached are some pictures of the airports, military bases, airfields and other important places which feature this scenery. Those who are familiar the other sceneries released by CalClassic, will surely be eager to have this upcoming masterpiece too.

Wow! What great news.

I'm just working on getting England up to speed and I've only installed a few Luftwaffe Bases and Warsaw Pact bases on the Continent. I'm glad I did England first as now I'll be able to install this new "Central Europe 61" without having to remove too many files.

Will the current Calclassic AI traffic files work with all of this new scenery? My assumption is that it will without any issues.
 
Hi,

New military AI aircraft and traffic files are included in the scenery package, all designed to be used with the CalClassic traffic installed. Also, there will be a new AI update released before CE61 is released. It will include several new aircraft (i.e. Do-28) and airlines (i.e. Schreiner) that will fly in CE61.
