Does anyone know where I can get the old freeware AI Martin Mars for FS9? I Googled it but couldn't find anything on it. Thanks in advance. Kind regards, Jeremy

And just today a flyable version appeared at SimV, with a panel. (Just the plane, not the scenery.)

"...Alphasim freeware AI mdl made flyable in FS2004.Complete 2D panel and outward look but no VC. Water dropping effect added. Conversion by A.F.Scrub."

No mention of whether there's a modified flight model. or whether one is needed.

A few years ago, when I was active in the hobby, I made a flyable version using a JRM panel I found at one of the download sites and the flight model from Paul Clawson's PB2Y Coronado.

This scenery package was created by Bob Baum and myself when we sold through Alphasim and made freeware by us with Phil Perrott's permision as it included the AI Mars created by him. Team SDB has no problem with it's modification but as the full model is still marketed by Virtavia Phil may have.

Just saying.

AI Mars and scenery

Thanks for the info on the Mars! I'm going to use it as an AI aircraft.

I did a quick search for US Navy skins for the plane at Flightsim and Simviation, but I didn't see anything available. Anyone know of some military skins short of the payware package? I'm really only interested in it as an AI plane which, for economical reasons, rules out the full pack at Virtavia.
