SOH-CM-2025
looks like a good add-on at Avsim for Phantom lover's, have'nt installed it yet but will sometime soon,
you'll need the Spangdahlem scenery by Ian McCartney, Mr Brown and Mr Kunst seem to be working their way through most of the USAF F4 units in US and Europe, cant have enough Rhino's in my sim :salute:

[FONT=verdana, sans-serif]File Description:
Retro AI flightplans and individual repaints for 78 aircraft of the Unites States Air Force 23 TFS, 81 TFS and 480 TFS of 52 TFW based at Spangdahlem [ETAD], Germany [version 2.0]. Two basic options included... Spangdahlem 1985: all three squadrons are equiped with F-4E and F-4G Phantoms all painted in "Euro1". Spangdahlem 1988: all three squadrons are equiped with F-16C/D Falcons and F-4G Phantoms of which most Phantoms are painted in "Euro1" and some of them in the grey "Hill" colour scheme. All the flightplans were individually tailored for the aircraft manually. This is to give a more realistic set of flightplans and is a massive update of Version 1.0 with retro destinations and additional flightplans added together with revised departure/arrival times. Callsigns by Stewart Pearson included. See also included readme file for more details on this package...

Thanks for catching that Ian. I agree that you just can't have enough of 'em in the sim. Having seen them operate in VN, Korea, the Philippines, Europe and all over America, I still get a kick out of seeing 'em blast out in full afterburn, even it it's just in the sim anymore.

Takes a bit of setting up, but its well worth it, ive gone for the 1985 option, just love the lizard green colors. Ive got Alconbury, Witmundhefen, Soesterburg and now Spanghhiem to fly F-4's in Europe, there are some other west german packages to install when i get around to it, and dont worry Matt, ive got the MAIW Greek F-4's installed also, there's also some good looking Turkish ai repaints over at Avsim that look intresting, could do some simple scenery for them, no probs, in the intrest of balance off-course :icon_lol:.
Phantoms and Migs is all i seem to fly in FS9 these days.
cheers ian

Lighter Textures

Perhaps not only you as there are some alternate and lighter color textures in the package that you can use to substitute for the darker textures that are default with the AI pack.

I'm thinking of backdating further than 1985 and using the old 3 color USAF scheme of the 60s and 70s on the planes.
