• There seems to be an uptick in Political comments in recent months. Those of us who are long time members of the site know that Political and Religious content has been banned for years. Nothing has changed. Please leave all political and religious comments out of the forums.

If you recently joined the forums you were not presented with this restriction in the terms of service. This was due to a conversion error when we went from vBulletin to Xenforo. We have updated our terms of service to reflect these corrections.

Please note any post refering to a politician will be considered political even if it is intended to be humor. Our experience is these topics have a way of dividing the forums and causing deep resentment among members. It is a poison to the community. We appreciate compliance with the rules.

few links

Jeezzzz.. Scotts site makes me wanna go to the hobby shop and drool over the engines.. unfortunately, its 500 miles away.. oh well.. i do miss San Jose at times.. Let me wake up and i'll see if i can come up with some links myself.. maybe in a few days, i can start taking the links tht people post and and organize them according to train simulation so we can make a sticky of them???

Just an addendum.. For you folks that like mixing table top and virtual you can check out D&J hobbies (located in Campbell california ). D&J is a hobby super store. its bigger than a safeway supermarket, and walking around the ailes is difficult because the shelves are close together. They have thousands of things they offer including plastic models, trains RC planes and doll houses. i found a working RC jet engine there once and even a 1/12th sale roll of toilet paper for the doll house. For trains, they got a lot.. scroll down to the trains entry in the link below and select your favorite sale :)..
