Help removing Shadows...

Hey All,

I'm trying to make a railway tunnel in Gmax. I have it completed but its casting shadows where I don't want it too. namely the hill attached to the tunnel. I have tried to remove it modelconvertX but then the whole model goes invisible.

I have tried with both FS2002 gamepack and FS2004.

I've checked a couple sites and they don't tell me what I need to know. only that it can be done with the asm file or X file.

Can someone point me the right way.

Oh a side note to this. its for CFS2 and I want to compile it as a destroyable object.

Thank you for any help you can give.

Till Later,
John

Blood_Hawk23,

If it helps, the Lancaster raid is a night mission. So whether or not there are shadows is very insignificant to its usefulness as a target, at least to the 617 Squadron.

I'd like to use this model for some Korean war missions as well.

I guess MDL Tweaker will do this for me but I can't find the download. The build in one in ModelconvertX is giving me issues.

Shadow Removed...

Well I figured it out. It took some digging to find out how. Basiclly I took the material and made its Ocapcity set at 99%. So now I have shadows for the tunnel walls but not the hill.

So thats how I did it. Hopefully someone will find this helpful in the future.

Till Later,
