Lockheed P-2V7 Fire Bombers?

Don't forget this guy over here in the corner! Could you send me the new models to me please?

I will, I ran out of time and had to go to work for the day so expect them tomorrow morning some time. Lots going on I am restoring a boat, building these models working a fulltime job and building a 1/48 scale p-51 model, too much to do so little time.:mixedsmi:

The best way to be is busy doing what you enjoy. Work doesn't necessarily count :icon_lol:

Ok OleBoy check your email you should have all five of them.

Will do. Thanks.

Bravo Zulu everyone! This is an epic undertaking and I just would like to thank Bill, Oleboy, Jeremy and Nick for all they've done on this. Finally, there is a complete and total collection of firefighting Neptunes... not rigged up military versions. This is awesome and everybody's hard work is definitely appreciated!

Jeremy's paint of T-55 has me drooling. :applause:

Feels like we're rounding the corner for the home stretch now, I see the light at the end of the tunnel. :mixedsmi: I think we should have a finalized flight model here pretty quick that I can get to you guys, especially you Bill. You should be able to fly the plane you've been working so hard on for all these months.

And I think as Jeremy's buddy I can answer for him somewhat... I know he'd love to do a tribute paint of T-99. Wish we still had her and her crew around. RIP Dolbeare!

Thank you airattackimages, Now I have the hard part to do and that is making good VC's that all will injoy. I have a good start noe it is all in the detail and doing it so it doesn't impact FPS in the flight sim.:mixedsmi:

Thank you

Bill

Looking good Bill! Yes, it is a very good start!

Thank you I have been trying to find some good pic of some of the tanker cockpits so I can make the gauge layout correct but they are few and far between, I feel I have a good Idea of how the are and will do my best to make them look and work like the real thing.:jump::jump::jump:
I am still learning how to build 3D gauges so I think that I will use normal defalt gauges untail I figure how to make the 3D gauges work the right way.

3d gauges are not as mysterious as you might think. If you could get set up on teamspeak I could get you going with some knowledge and maybe even some sample files. As I recall you have not used TS for some reason, but it is my current weapon of choice.

Think about it. I'm here when you're ready.

THIS should help you get going. You can use a headset, that's how I do it and it works well. You can also use speakers and a stand-alone mic.

Ok I got things setup but I can not get my mic to work with the teamspeak3 program, I can get it to work with my soundcard programs but not the team speak program, I am trying so bare with me and I will get things working.

Ok I now have TS up and working fine, I have put much thought in to the models and would like to focuse on one model at a time and then work on the next untail all are done. I have been a little overwhelmed with all the diferent models and trying to keep everything updated that it would just be smarter to put the focus on one of them. I would like to talk with Stealthshodow1, Airattackimages, Tankerguy 72 and OleBoy on team speak and get your input on how things are going, let me know when the best time would be to get on TS so we can decide witch model we should do first.

Thank you

Bill

Hey Bill... sorry for the delay, fatherhood has me slow to get around to things I guess, I apologize that you'd been waiting. We've got a coherent flight model, it's mostly finished I think. We had one tester that reported a bizarre incident during start up from cold and dark in which the aircraft began spiraling into the air like a UFO. Been trying to chase that down but so far haven't been able to reproduce it, although the person it's happened to has had it happen to him multiple times. Other than that odd happening the flight model is pretty much finished. I downloaded TS again, but don't recall how to log in here.

That ok I have been a little busy myself and have not had much time to work on the VC, I will be starting to use some of what I have learned ( thanks to N2056) to help build the vc better and make it look better, I just got back from California and I was able to get some good pic's of an old CDF S-2 Tracker thet was on display, outside detale and some good cockpit photo so I will have some good modeling pics to go by.

Thank You

Bill
