Interesting, I have an aircraft carrier anchored in the Bay of Bengal with a beacon but they said they were turning it off and going fishing somewhere. Pfftt.
 
Yep, they'll treat you right. Fill it full of gas, cup of java, a sandwich. Just watch out for some innocent looking sailor carrying a cement block...
