I'm working on placing all 340 known heliports (active and inactive) into FSX. This will be done one county at a time, until all 21 counties are completed.
Neither the FAA or NJ DOT have a complete or current listing of helo facilities. So the list I've created has been gathered from multiple sources. This project will rely heavily on standard library objects with a few additional objects as needed. Also a bit of poetic license will go into the actual locations (moved to fit best into the default scenery) and the available scenery libraries. I'm attempting to add major landmarks/buildings and adjust some scenery classes to be closer to reality for the area. When released it will offer many helipads to locate and visit, and hours of fun flying. The first instalment, Mercer County, should be ready for upload to the SOH resources in the next could of weeks.
