P3Dv2.5 flight test!

A quick flight using the Manfred's C-47 with cloud shadows. The P3D clouds look nice! I like how HDR makes the bare metal look natural and how the shadows look on the radials. It's very smooth and loads fast. That was not the case with v2.4 for me due to my AMD/ATI system. Plus, while recording was smooth also. I tested with clouds since that gave me the most stutters before.

Edit: Wanted to add that AA is much better. No external programs used, just the CCC for ATI cards.

Tu, I thought I was the only SOH AMD/ATI Rebel lol. Could you give me some suggestions and or settings in the CCC please. I have not fiddled with the CCC, but I have it into crossfire on W8.1, my ATI card is a 2gig R5 200 with the on board 7560D. Any help would be appreciated as I get used to this crossing firing line of ATI.

I tell ya I shouldn't be running this put put computer for P3D! :biggrin-new: For the type of flying I do it works, all thou ASUS 1GB card is a bit small these days. I mainly use FSX/P3Dv2 for testing sounds/effects/paints these days.

MSI 890GXM-G65
AMD 965 Black Edition 3.2GHz @ 3.9GHz
2x4GB Corsair Vengeance 1600Hhz
ASUS EAH5850 DIRECTCU 1GB
2x WD Raptor HDD (P3Dv2 500GB) and (FSX 150GB)
4x Seagate HDD

Anyways I'm using these setting in P3D FXAA on, MSAA 8x, Anistropic 16x, Textures 1024. Seems to work better in P3Dv2.5 than v2.4 did.

My setting for FSX. Tested in P3D and works well also.

CCC is set to 8x Edge-detect. AA is Supersampling.
