Hi All.firstly, does piglets PC6 porter work in P3Dv4? and if so,can someone point me to where i can find it?..ive been looking off and on for a few weeks now,and i cant seem to find it,then again i cant seem to work the search right at all...:dizzy:

Dave,

one of my favorite bush aircraft. Still fly it regularly. I have not found anything that does not work in the latest P3D version! So I guess you're good to go.

Cheers,
mark

thanks Mark,i love watching the videos on youtube with the PC6 and some of those little strips they land on.

I love that Pilatus as well, and have recently reinstalled it just to test it in VR (and it's great).
Be aware the original model's sounds are aliased to the C-208, which does not exist in P3Dv4. Then I has no sound for that plane after install.
Perhaps the newest versions of this package are aliased to another plane ?

Hmmm, in my installation the Porter has a very distinctive an throaty sound. I'll check the config tonight, but I don't think I've got it aliased.

Cheers,
Mark

Keep in mind, my archive is pretty old. Perhaps one of the first ones, if not the original one.
Probably, the more recent archives were made in a better way, with custom sounds included by fellow community members, things like that... I mean, it's just my supposition...

The newer PC-6 files linked by Naismith above have their own dedicated sound files. The files were uploaded to Simviation last January.

By the way, thanks loads for that link, Naismith.
