My IE 8 has gone to he!!. I've been geting script errors with no end in sight. It has made Google image useless. Java is up to date as I thought it may have been a error in Java so I uninstalled and reinstalled. It was no use.

This is the error I get at Google image.

Two words:

MOZILLA FIREFOX

My sis-in-law called me the other day and said that she was getting script errors when she tried to log into her employers website. I asked her what browser she was using and she said IE8. I told her the same two words I said above...and now she has no more problems.

Yeah but for the fack that FF eats 1 GB of RAM just to start. Thats the whole ram this PC has! FF is the big farking joke! I can have 5 IE window open on the taskbar and never brake 8MB of RAM. At PC start up its useing 204MB of RAM and 245MB of RAM with a IE window open @ update.microsoft.com

I had FF and hated it RAM eating. I'll try Crome first. Inlees that FF got its RAM eating prob fix!

EDIT: Fixed it!! So far...
I unistalled IE8 and since this is a XP, I got downgraded to IE6. I used IE6 to go back to microsoft update and redownload and install IE8. *Before I uninstalled IE8 I downloaded Google Crome just incase I didn't get downgraded to IE6.* The fresh install dumped whatever bug I had. It seems to work fine now.

I'm running Firefox 3.6.16 at it is using only 55megs of RAM and that is with about a dozen add ons running inside of Firefox.

I don't recall what FF version I had but it was a RAM eater. It had no plug-ins at all too.
