Did you report that to the US Space Command in Colorado Springs?

"Ummmm, I was flying along in my Bonanza over the desert when I saw this strange ship.
Errr.. no sir, I'm not sure where I was.. the only thing marked on the map is a dry lake..
ummm.. yeah.... Broom? Groom? something like that... no, there was no airstrip marked on MY map! No Sir! That also surprised me..."

"excuse me but I have to hang up now... there is someone breaking down my front door..."

So, it's true then. The Earth's governments are being run by shape shifting aliens. No sir, Mr. Government Agent, sir, I didn't see anything. Must have been that chili I had for lunch.......

Klingon or Romulan?

I didn't get close enough to find out.

Actually from what I remember when I downloaded it, it's Klingon. There was a much nicer looking Klingon Bird of Prey, but it was doing some wierd spinning around when used as AI.

The thing about playing with Area 51 and AI is that you can let your imagination run wild. And if you dig through the FlightSim file library, you can find some interesting stuff to put in there.

Interesting timing---

From today's (Mon., April 15) AvWeb newsletter; The Lighter Side is about fun(ny) things heard on frequency

Short Final

FABC:
"Tower, be advised there were several large birds on approach to runway 32."

YKF Tower (spotting birds through binoculars) :
"Roger. XYZ, look out for multiple birds of prey on approach."

FXYZ:
"Klingons in sight, XYZ."

BTW, "YKF" is the real airport... https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Region_of_Waterloo_International_Airport

I don't know what's stranger: The spaceships, or Willy actually flying a GA aircraft! :isadizzy:

Sometimes you just have to broaden your horizons :icon_lol:

Actually the Carenado Bonanza comes in handy for our GA events like the one coming up. Not the fastest out there, but with decent speed and range for a GA aircraft.
