While digging around Avsimrus, i found someone has converted his Mil-24 Hind to a scenery object, looks good and im thinking of using it but i'd like to check first to see if its legit, but Piglets sunk under the radar these days and i cant even send him a pm, any ideas.
cheers ian

There was a discussion over in the FSX Forum a while back as to Piglet's whereabouts, he hasn't been around over there in a while and no one has been able to locate him. The e-mail address I have for him is no longer working...... BB686:USA-flag:

Yea, I hope he returns at some time, but I think the fact that his e-mail isn't working any more and you are unable to PM should tell ya something. He was putting out magnificent flying machines at a break-neck pace for a while there and it was time for him to take time for "him". He doesn't want to be contacted and may just decide that there actually is a real world beyond the one he was strapped to all these years. I say. . ."Good Luck Tim and enjoy your freedom".

As far as the scenery object is concerned. . .Tim wouldn't do that on his own and unless there is a readme attached that states "With the kind permission of Tim "Piglet" Conrad". . .I wouldn't touch it.:salute:

Yeah, he was at it for a long time, going back to at least CFS 1 that I know of. One of my favorite aircraft in that sim was a Bf 109F that he did.

The first FS addon I ever downloaded was a Westland Whirlwind, that of Piglet's Peculiar Planes. Then I had to learn what a zip was, and how to open it, once I figured out where in the computer the download went. Then I learned about file hierarchy and where to place the airplane in FS98....and after a day or so......got aquainted with Tim's fine work.

Boy....time flies.

One of my favorites from Piglet was his FS-9 T-28 Trojan. I really enjoyed plowing the virtual skies with what I currently consider to be the best T-28 in the MS Flightsim series. His MS-760 for FSX was also a sweet ride.
