Awesome aircraft! I was privileged to meet a former Mosquito Navigator at MOD Stafford's RAF Officers/Sgts mess summer ball earlier this year! A very quiet unassuming sort of man, an honour to meet the Gentleman for certain.

At least your sheep are normal size! I flew into RNAS Predannack Cornwall; a while back. Scared the living whatsits out of me; sheep on the runway as BIG as COWS! Something in the water perhaps?

It seems that I accidentally deleted most of my screenshots! DOH!

To make amends here are some more of G_DAAN near Exeter, on a cold early winter's evening.

Repaint modifications are thanks to DaveB; Cheers again Dave, she's fabulous!

I like the registration: G-DAAN

:-D

Yes, I see what you mean; it has a certain Dutch flavour to it.

It' actually refers to Devon Air Ambulance of course; this Helicopter was purchased for the Charity, through donations and fund raising by Listeners to the BBC Radio Devon channel.

Thanks for the great comments guys!:encouragement:

Shortly after this.. Ray Hanna's beloved P-40 made the long trip back to NZ to be replaced by a VERY expensive Lavochkin La-9 (around the £3m mark if I remember right) which didn't last long.

Thanks Ian; glad to be the source for your inspiration!

I remember these aircraft flying over Plymouth most days back in the 1980s, sadly a sight no longer to be seen!
