Hi SPAD54 !
Hi SPAD54 !

Your J-2 Cub funktion OK in my system.

Intel Core2 duo 2.4GHz, 4G memory, GF8800 GTS 320MB, 320GB HD, 500W Bluestorm PSU.

I must say. Your at Golden Age Flightsim make nice and interesting aircrafts.

Best Regard

Spad54,

Thanks for the A/C :jump:

I am happy to say that this is running like a dream on my system. Looks Great, handles like a dream and has no impact on framerates. :applause:

Hope to see more from you soon, your WACO Collection is a favorite of mine.

David

You've made an outstanding little airplane here!

just took it from Waldronaire (90WA) to Orcas Isle (KORS) and it was very very nice...

I like the interior details as well as the appropriate bump mapping and ribbing on the exterior (the incluses paint is excellent too) - and best of all - it had virtually zero impact on FPS...

I hope there is a paint kit for Sean and maybe a new spinning prop from BananaBob and I would have to call it perfect - well done Spad54 and co.:ernae:

Thanks to you all !

nicely done! nice looking, and it seems to trim out real nice too. i may need to modify my technique on take-off though. it seems like as soon as the tail comes up, it leaves the ground. i was amazed at how slow i could do my approach. i tried to go real shallow to make it stall, just to see where it would happen. by the time it actually did, i was about a foot off the runway anyhow. i may need to fly through some barns with it :icon_lol:
i'd be able to go slow enough to maybe avoid crashing this time! :costumes:

I'd really appreciate it if someone could whip up a new prop texture. They are not my strong suit. If one follows the existing bitmaps precisely they will serve as a paint kit

Thanks Bruce,
Yes Bob's default J3 Piper Cub prop works well!

Thats an accurate representation according to folks who have flown the J-2 and cubs in general, They literally levitate off the runway and if you have to much airspeed on final, float. You seem to have hit the correct balance. Glad you enjoy it
