Here's an interesting aircraft:
this one was owned by Frits Philips (yes, of that company) until he donated it to the Aviodrome in Lelystad

Thanks for that. Only had SP1 installed when took for her my first flight, but sadly the problem arose again (for me) after installing SP2. Spoke to someone down my local flying club and he said his windows opened as per usual. Perhaps its just me!!
Other thing I've noticed is that I dont seem to need much rudder to keep her straight in turns and when taking off and landing and the stalling characteristics seem to be a little scary as she pitches upwards after the stall and then flicks over. I always thought that the Auster was known to be a twitchy aeroplane to fly and not for the faint hearted. I fly with all the sliders to the right, so perhaps its me (yet) again.

Were you not given the betas to try out? As a RW Auster pilot, I assumed Dave had consulted you on the flight modelling. I will have a look at the stall, she seemed about right to me, on my system.

There's actually two in the US it seems.
One in the Mid Atlantic Air Museum (N22443),
and one in Phoenix, Arizona (N47DN).
Now if we had any pics of those?
Who's in Phoenix, and who's close to MAAM?
To save you a bit of time, both are Auster 5s with Lycoming engines, nothing at all like the Autocrat - a totally different aeroplane.

Now that looks a little bit more like an Autocrat (same size tail), but with a different exhaust and a wind-driven generator on the wing, it may be a different model.

Found it and am afraid to say its an Auster AOP.6 with the civilianised back. This is C-FLPA which served with the RCAF as 16675 and was the last AOP.6 built.
Differences from the Autocrat are a larger engine, different flaps, and a longer undercarriage to allow the use of a bigger propeller.
For a wonderful recreation of the AOP.6 have a look at Dave Molyneaux's example (which does work I believe) in FSX at:

As long as everyone has fun what's wrong with some fictitious repaints? Those that don't want them don't have to use them.
There's nothing wrong with them, but for some obscure reason, I'm always more interested in real aircraft.
(real) French & British aircraft are next, looking for/thinking of Scandinavian ones..

It's registration used to be PH-LPS, and PH-LAA before that. It's C/N 1845. It got the registration PH-NFH after restauration by the 'Philips Vliegdienst' and was donated to the Aviodome in 1977.
The registration PH-LPS was applied to a Beech 18 that replaced the Auster, and later to a Falcon 20 .

The 'Kiwi Autocrat' is an Aiglet Trainer! Come on guys, get your research right! The majority of the repaints I have seen here are quite frankly ludicrously inaccurate (with a few notable exceptions). I have applied over 20 (accurate) repaints to Dave Molyneaux's FS9 Autocrat so some of you guys could have done the same to Dave Garwoods!
