• There seems to be an uptick in Political comments in recent months. Those of us who are long time members of the site know that Political and Religious content has been banned for years. Nothing has changed. Please leave all political and religious comments out of the forums.

As of yet, there are no plans to make the small mouth early models. It would be almost a totally new model since a significant ammount of changes were introduced into the J and L from the E and F, in both the outside and inside (cockpit). If we did do early models, there is no way it would be a free add-on. Right now, we are considering other possible additions to the P-38 late family though... :kilroy: HummmmmMmmm. I wonder what that could be.... I cant promis anything though.

An M model & F-5 would be welcome additions as well. :wiggle:

I have asked twice why the P38L aircraft.cfg has a fltsim for texture camoL when there is not a texture folder for this included and I have never gotten an answer, I would like to know why!!!

I'm sorry this fell through the cracks. We have been very diligent about answering all inquiries, but we obviously lost track of this one.

There will be an update coming this weekend (Oct. 25 - 26 2009) that will be adding the 'K' model to the P38, as well as a new Load Manager which will correct any issues with paint scheme formatting.

Sorry we did not answer you sooner.

Spent a hour on the three aircraft YF23, Commander, and P-38

new latest update on p-38 loaded and rebooted
P-38 looking better fixing stuff is good however now no matter what order I load it the YF23 has no gauges at all with all YF 23 fixes loaded
If I load the commander first its OK but if I load the p 38 or YF23 first NO VC in commander
If I load YF 23 first "which has no gauges" the commander also has no VC
If I load the P38 first which seems OK then No VC in commander

If I load the YF23 (no gauges working at all) or commander first with VC working and then P-38 seem OK but if I go back and reload Commander after the p-38 then No VC in commander again...

I hope that makes sense!?!?:isadizzy:
 
Ack, just upgraded to Windows 7 and it appears the P-38 is having something of a hissy fit and locking up FSX when I hit "fly". Everything else seems to work fine.

Hi Chris,

I would probably need more information to figure this out. Computers can throw all kinds of hissy fits.

When you upgraded did you reinstall all of your programs (like the P38)? Send me all of the specific error/problem information to me directly at td@fsd-international.com and I will see what I can figure out.
 
This is probably not the place to ask this, but I am out of options. I bought the P-38 package a few weeks ago and had some computer problems. I lost my files and the airplane, I have my "Proof of Purchase Certificate Number" and the order # . My invoice is from Flight 1. ( I was told that you use their wrapper ) Thats why my invoice is from Flight 1. They said to contact the manufacture of the plane and I could not find a place to make contact on the web site. Can anyone help with this? Sorry if I'm in the wrong place here.

You can only get it through FlightSim Developers via their website: http://www.fsd-international.com/

Which P-38 did you buy? There were two different packages released in a week. Are you sure you don't have the Other one? I believe it was available with the Flight1 Wrapper

I can't answer that. All I know is that you could not have got it from Flight 1. FSD does not sell through any publisher sites. My suggestion would be to contact them via the link I supplied & explain your situation.

No you never have to do that.

If you go to our support page you can link to a page where you can look up all your own data, including download files. If you can't find you password, etc., just send up a flag by sending a support request, again from our support page. We will get you all the information you need.
