It is shaping up very nicely, Wozza, thank you for giving us a closer look at her!

It looks like a great canvas for plenty of paint schemes by the way. ;)

If you happen to be on the lookout for any more reference sites, currently there is an extremely nice SNJ-5C listed on the inventory page of Courtesy Aircraft Sales' site. On there are numerous photos both inside and out, as well as a link to plenty more photos taken during its restoration.

Wozza!

Looks brilliant man!

I have missed your creations. Good to see another one back in the production queue.

Some famous birds. They have trained many an ace in the past decades...

Is this FSDS borne or Gmax?

Bill

Thanks Guys :)
John: wait till ya see the texture mapping, you will curse the day I was born :icon_twi:
Bill: FSDS and FsdsTweak, the pilot was born in G-max(thanks Mike) but Felix dragged him kicking and screaming though the conversion process so now he's an fsds convert(out of the closest so to speak ;) )
Aussieman it was a coin toss and it came down tails :icon_lol:

But it is not a Wirraway :isadizzy:
Are there many external differences between the T-6 and Wirraway, other than the extra gun? Seems like a paintjob would make it close.

Interestingly... The Wirraway shot down a single aircraft (a Zero, whose pilot must have been very embarassed in his last moments). What I didn't realize was that that was one more than the Boomerang... Always thought the Boomerang was neat looking.

Very good looking model Wozza :salute:

I think it proper to let folks know that Wozza is not one of your everyday, run of the mill developers. Every time I've popped into the developer's forum over at Freeflight Design Shop, asking for help on my own AT-6 project, Wozza is almost always the first in line to give helpful advice and sometimes even gives help with xml code. Sometimes Fr. Bill is first, but usually it's Wozza to the rescue.

May your willingness to help others, even when they're building a plane that others might consider competition be richly rewarded.

Looks great, Wozza. I already have several airfields and a couple of carriers in mind!:applause::applause:

As a lucky beta tester, I can tell you there's some truly excellent and unique gauge work in that plane, and it's only going to get better. :)

The rudder of the Wirraway was larger and different with a continuous curve on the trailing adge whereas the SNJ/T-6 was a straight line. And there was a noticable gap in the area where the top of the cowling meets the top of the forward fuselage. Very noticable. Otherwise quite similar.

Perhaps the video is not as bad as you think, as at least I understood you were starting an aeroplane ;)
