My system went down & I haven't touched FSX since then...

But I am living evidence that y'all can survive in life though.....:bump:

A solid year without a flight....Hmmmmm

Thats quite a while for sure..

I feel for ya and can 100% relate.

My USB ports no longer work. That means I can't hook up the joystick controllers, or the camera, or the flash drives or the iPod or the...

So Panther there has been one huge saving grace, X3. It can be flown perfectly with the mouse. :applause:

Panther, we are your buddies and I am here to tell you you are still stuck in the stage of denial. It is time you move on to anger(throw away your FSX disk) , bargaining (perhaps trade FSX for RISE OF FLIGHT), depression (your computer might not run that one either) and then acceptance This comes after you work though the numerous conflicts and feelings that FSX brings. You can succumb to the inevitable as you become more tired and weakness hangs on. You become less emotional, calmness arrives and banishes fear along with joy or sadness. You realize the battle FSX is almost over and now it's really alright for you to Buy a new rig.

Just my thoughts

I feel your pain, Panther - my FS system died at the end of October 08, and there's no sign in the near future of being able to build a new one.

We will welcome you back with open arms. Just don't use the new lens to get closeup shots of Panzers and then show us. Otherwise all bets are off. :icon_lol:

I don't know, Mr. P........that photography bug seems to have stuck with you pretty solid (and with good results!), so there's a silver-lining to the tale !

Panther

Nikon equipment can be very addictive.
This is from someone who has D2X, 600mm F4 lens and a 200-400mm VR lens.
Plus a lot more.
