Its plainly obvious you don't understand.

There seems to be an up tick in Political commentary in recent months. Those of us who are long time members of the site we know that Political and Religious content has been banned for years. Nothing has changed. Please leave all political and religiours commentary out of the fourms.
If you recently joined the forums you were not presented with this restriction in the terms of service. This was due to a conversion error when we went from vBulletin to Xenforo. We have updated our terms of service to reflect these corrections.
Please note any post refering to a politicion will be considered political even if it is intended to be humor. Our experience is these topics have a way of dividing the forums and causing deep resentment amoung members. It is a poison to the community. We apprciate compliance with the rules.

Religious conservatives watch the game too. If they are offended enough, they might just turn the channel.
If they were advertising on a public sidewalk (without violating local sign ordinances) that would be covered by the 1st Ammendment. This is private commerce, not protected speech.
Because CBS has to worry about ratings. (See my first paragraph.)If they air something that offends their audience, they may decide to turn the channel. When that happens, ratings go down and demand and price for future ad spaces go down. CBS ends up losing money in the long-term.
...i too would be horrified if two grown men would start makingout in a crowded stadium...thats not the place...i dont like it wehn married men and women make out in public places such as a football stadium.there are places to be loving and places to be "sporty"...
For the record, I have problems with commercials for products I have no need of using either. (certain hygene products come to mind most readily .........
There is a place ........
I am in total agreement.
Just because there's a Consitutional Amendment affording the right to free speech, etc.....doesn't necessarily mean such things would be considered appropriate.
I suppose it's just another sign of the times. I don't agree with the "anything goes" mentality.

And who will judge if one's opinion is too stupid, illogical, etc. To hell with everyone being allowed an equal opinion. Some people's opinions are too damn stupid, illogical, poorly considered, badly researched and infuriatingly Neanderthal-like to even be considered.
He got a BIG break from us taxpayers, 3 mill! Wonder how long it lasted .....give the guy a break already
I never said he was a smart money manager...Wonder how long it lasted .....
Excellent....I think that's the salient point.:salute:
For you Europeans, Asians, Africans, or Aussies that don't get this...The Superbowl is THE MAJOR advertising event of the year in the U.S. It condenses a significant amount of the viewing populace to a single place for a very small period of time. Somewhere along the line it became traditional for companies to compete for the most creative advertisements. It's actually become a major attraction, even to those who don't care for the game. Lately, the half time show has become almost as large as the game.
Some years, the half time show is far better than the game.....
And who will judge if one's opinion is too stupid, illogical, etc.
You?

I have to root for the Colts. Indy is my home town!
