I've just realised. The UK must be awash with 70th Anniversary rubbish at the moment - the usual "Coronation Mug" sort of thing. Unfortunately we who live in the Colonies do not see all these delightful artefacts (there were NO celebrations AT ALL of the Fall of France. Can't think why.) and are missing the joy and pride they are supposed to inspire in us, not to mention that they should instil in us a healthy distrust of our dear friends in the EU...

What I was thinking is that I wouldn't mind getting the mucky puds on a decent souvenir of some sort, so if by any chance any of you chaps at Home see anything that strikes you as tasteful, well executed, just the sort of thing to bung on the dinner table when the Hunnish family-in-law are visiting, and so forth, perhaps you'd like to post a link below so I can ask my (German) wife to buy it me for Christmas.
And in between times, it'll open the eyes of those disadvantaged with living in the Americas...
