I would like to say these CSF2 Skyraiders are very good......

I just got my freeware.

Thought I would like to drum up some CFS2 shots of any Razbam CFS2 free model you are now or have been flying.....

In Action...........

So we can have something to browse.....They don't have to be great....this isn't a competition

Just a CFS2 shot .......in action......smoke and flames even better...don't be afraid to offend...its just a simulation.

If this thread dies off............ok..........here is my attempt

This is a CFS2 .....I think the first is Dak To AF..... Southeast Asia Mesh

The others are stock carrier landing with the Updated Coral Sea
 
A1-E Alaska Bush Aircraft...........needs a purpose and a target

I've been throwing out an idea to use Skyraiders as a bush transport aircraft....

Probably too skiddish a craft ..............

But......I had to come up with a legitimate target........none offensive foe or subject.

King size marsh bog bugs........

Ok....its not that funny.........but right now....material is slim

Maybe Razbam will release model files for a Skyraider Floatplane.....ho ho.....I think it would nose in the drink.....

Still, some great A1-E's by Razbam...........

I am not ambitious enough to make sling loads or transport cases for the wing pylons to carry stuff....
........and why do all this work??? I don't know.....????

Either way.......here are some screenshot for a browse and a........now that's something ....odd...I haven't seen that before????

RAZBAM Aircraft

I've posted a few of these before, but the planes are so nice that I keep these shots in my screen shot library for occasions like this.

I might add that Bearcat241 worked the original FS 9 models over so that they can all be used as AI aircraft in CFS 2 missions as well as the player's aircraft.

Yup..worked the Banshee and Skyraiders, except for the A-1E...IIRC...not sure who on the Raz team refitted that model for CFS2. The Skyhawks were released under different circumstances, so i just helped out with any tech support afterwards.

This thread, along with Ron's freeware release announcement, reminds me that i have an unfinished panel mod project to get back to someday. In the past, adding freeware gauges to the payware models was a major obstacle that restricted my options - not so now. :kilroy:
 
Nicely buit scenery SW.

I cheated a bit on this shot as it's from FS9. It's of a Skyraider out of the 1st Special Ops Squadron out of Nakhon Phenom, Thailand, but the scenery is Camp Eagle in I Corps, South Vietnam (spent some time there with the 17th Air Cav). Not sure why he flew across the Annamese Cordillera to go there, but he did and now he's fuelled up and ready to go back to Thailand.
 
The CFS2 Razbam Skyhawk are very nice. I bought them earlier. Planned to make more skins and an alternative panel. The reason why I ended up doing Ito's instead was the Razbam's distorted texture mapping type. Too much work to get it right. Pity.. Anyway, the original skins are just great of course.

Speaking of Panels...

... I've always wanted a 2d panel for the RAZBAM single seat Skyraider that matched the VC panel more closely. That way there would be a more seemless transition between the two panel views. Has anyone built a 2d panel for the CFS 2 H Model Skyraider that matches?
