Hello again

jankees

SOH-CM-2025
So there we are, in Belgium.
The move was succesful, my computer and FSX seem to be up and running, and all I need to do now is unpack huge amounts of boxes. Why does one need so much stuff?
The movers started complaining about my library, ('nobody can read this many books...'), but that got through as well. Now for sorting everything...
To celebrate, I thought I'd see how many Belgian aircraft I had in my sim, but clearly I have been neglecting my new home country a bit, as these were all I could find:

FX12196.jpg

FX12202.jpg

FX12206.jpg

and I think these count too:

That's it...anybody know of any other nice Belgian aircraft/paints?

JanKees, it good to see you have survived the journey to Brussels.

Now you are there visit the Royal Military museum in the Jubelpark in Brussels. It is full with interesting Belgian aircraft!

For FSX, Anthony's beautiful Tiger Moth comes with texture for the red Belgian Moth. Manuale Villa's Fiat CR42 (for FS2004, but works nicely in FSX) comes with a Belgium livery. The Belgiums flew the Gladiator and the Hurricane in 1940.

After the war I think they flew with almost every thing produced!

Cheers,
Huub

very cool..hope you get all settled in....i did a count of my books reciently..1562 books and growing,,,and i live in an RV..may not seem like alot of books for a personal library..but consider that fact of the RV ( caravan) living..along with my 200+ diecast airplanes and tanks

if you see Hercule Poirot give him my best.....hehehe

The movers started complaining about my library, ('nobody can read this many books...'), but

Well a large porn collection is thought to be a thing of the past since the invention and implimenation of the internet :jump: I never read those - just look at the pictures :icon_eek:

I think I'll contact my broker tomorrow and see if he can get me invested in some Belgian paint factories.:icon_lol:

A real cool belgian fighter was the Renard fighter. Only 3 prototypes were built. Hwver I can't recall I ever saw a FS model from one of them.

Cheers,
Huub

That Renard does look neat...
Another Belgian aircraft that I'd love to see done for FS9 or FSX would be the Fairey Fantome... one was made for FS2000 and not since... It's like a sleeker, souped-up Hawker Fury... Only 4 prototypes made of this one.
