I've build these missions with flak setup at Veteran level, I have written something about this in the readme.

It is not possible to fly CFS3 with flak setup at Ace level.

I'm looking forward to getting my hands on these missions!
In ETO IIRC the approach to "dumbing down" flak is to increase the "noise" parameter in each flak gun's xdp file.
However I think they've gone the other way and made it too easy. Flak hardly ever hits you.
However its hard to get the balance right. Personally, I like the setup where if you fly straight and slow, you are likely to be hit...which is what a lot of the AI does.....

The pack is finished now (46 missions).

After several evenings of frustration, I've been able to fix the pathfinder mission. Not 100% as I wanted it to be (CFS3 limitations...) but I'm quite happy with it as it is.

I'm on holliday next week, I plan to release the pack in september as initially expected. If the He177 is available soon, I'll add a couple of mission for it.


Right now, I have started to work ob a small mission pack (3-4 missions) for the Defiant.

Does anybody have problem with mission "LBS_Atl-Wall_44-07-07_Spitfire.xml" (era 4)?

It seems that facility "B_sandbags-f" is missing.

Trouble is that I haven't build this one, I thought it was an original ETO facility, I don't know where does it come from.

Let me know with this item.

I must admit that everytime I fly a mission from this pack I come back to this thread in order to better understand the mission and it's purpose.:icon_lol:

:salute:LZ I have it I have the original ETO facilitys. It was in there:salute:BTW all your Alantic Wall missions work great for me:applause::guinness:
 
Hi Guys,

Hi LZ, I just checked my ETO 1.4 install and I do not have the B_sandbags-f facility file.

I checked the following installs as well and none had this file.

Stock CFS3.
ETO 1.20 (base install)
MAW.
PTO.
CFS3 BoB.
DPC CFS3 Korea.
OFF.

Its possible that the file came with a mission set somewhere along the line and some people must have had the files in the thier CFS3 install when they installed ETO and thats how ETO has picked up the file.

I would attach the file here for those who already have your mission set and possibly re-upload the set with the missing files and a revised link to Nigels plane for people to who download in the future.

great effort on your part.
