From the poll options, I'd go with the Yak series, although I'm also partial to the Twin Mustang.

As far as my own wishes go, I would hope for a very high quality, FSX-Native, "systems-simulation" of the following:

Fairchild Metroliner
Antonov An-24RV
Tupolev Tu-134A-3 and/or B model.
Beech 1900C and/or D
Cessna 400-series (preferably 404 or Reims/Cessna 406)
Dassault Falcon series (20 through 50)
Gulfstream 1
Saab 340
Mil Mi-2
Mil Mi-24 (Hind)
Kamov Ka-60

Your list is missing the first stealth bomber. The North American B-45 Tornado. It's the first stealth bomber, because it seems to be invisible to history and most discussions regarding the early jets put into service.

Hm. Sounds like something for PutPut.

That list looks like something from Piglet´s peculiar planes freeware workshop...

With a Yak-3/7/9? Hardly.

...F-82E (day escort fighter) and F-82G (night fighter version with "pickle" radar between the cockpits). This is a neat airplane.

Granted, not many were built compared to the "usual" suspects (P-51D, P-40, P-38, B-17, B-25, etc.). However, a comparative infinite number of F-82s were built compared to the [usually British] oddball "one-offs" [i.e. typical proof-of-concept machine-- usually to test a theory-- and only one example ever built] that some developers get completely enraptured with-- so I guess the relationship of numbers produced to potential FSX model is all relative.

Bottom line: I would easily pay for an F-82 package done to the level of quality and detail that the Warbirdsim P-51 is done at...

Kent,
Just a look at my avatar should tell what my choice is LOL.
The F-82E has been my pet project for 4 years now.

FSX Wish List:

B-26 Marauder

North American AJ Savage

Douglas A-20 Havoc

I am being a little more realistic :icon_lol: the B-26 tho , so many European theater,d aircraft and amazing paints to go with

The Savage , that would be interesting , that definitely a Tim'Piglet'Conrad Special for the navy nutters like myself .

A Havoc/Boston series , hecks they are few and far between as well following the 26 .

One added keeping it military , this being a Combat Flight Sim Forum but also to keep the panties on the civvy boys , the Fokker Friendship .

I don't want your Fokker Friendship :icon_lol: I want the list above looked at :icon_lol::icon_lol::icon_lol:

Ian...

....knocked it out of the park with his Fokker Friendship request. We need a detailed, FSX-native version of that (to include the military MPA variant) badly.

Bravo, Ian!

Good-day,
I expected the answer of many lists of aircraft's, many of which are of much appeal to myself also. I particularly like the idea of a B-26, P-35, or the F-84. The idea of the NXT is curious, and it's too bad that we haven't seen any more on that project. However, none of these are in the poll....for a reason.

To answer some, I didn't mention a replacement Sea Fury, only another.

Keep the answers coming, it's interesting at least.

The poll is showing favor on the F-82, as expected.

in my fantasy dream world...all the developers got together and create super releases...full bells n whistles accusimmed Howard 500 would be crazy awesome. So would a full bells n whistles accusimmed Beech 18....and a Staggerwing...and a DO-335, and a Goose...and a Waco...yeah...ok I will wake up now :icon_lol: Ultimately tho I hope developers just make what they want.

Can I add a Voodoo and a Hun?? Oh and the definitive Starfire, the F-94C? And a bubble-top Thunderbolt? So many historic aircraft are missing we could go on for years...!!

But would any of them turn a profit??:kilroy:

Exactly the reason why I mentioned this list as "payware". It would seem, that the time, money, and resources that go into the production of a FSX native aircraft, deems it absolute that it would have to be sold, to reimburse, those efforts. However, we all have freeware aircraft that can rival our purchased hangar. With that said, for the payware developers to pursue replicating an aircraft accurately, and realistically, with the quality that we seem to expect...it must be an effort toward something that will appeal to a large enough number of the FS community, to make that project worthwhile, otherwise these guys are out of work.

Yak-3 and Seafury are on my wish list as is a FSX native DHC Chipmunk and P-40M/N. Thunder Mustang would be interesting too. Since a Sea Fury would appear to be in the pipeline I voted Yak-3

Well, I followed the instructions, and voted for the Cessna 170. :icon_lol: Can't have enough tail draggers.

On the list C-170 with bush variants and Twin Mustang.
Off the list finally getting my P 39 so Accusimmed B 29.

voted for the 170 in the list. I would love to have a Piper Aztec .... after that Japanese Kate and Val.
