I hope Sketchy won't take this as stealing thunder - but having just seen a few recent posts on their forum, I thought I'd post here, as there are more than a few of us Sea Fury fans here!

Original development thread: http://z13.invisionfree.com/Flying_Stations/index.php?showtopic=63&st=0

2 youtube videos (at least as of today): http://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=UUNMYb57pO7alqIPmXTLe1ug&feature=plcp

Interestingly, if launched when projected (sometime in May), it'll have been exactly two years - as I recall, exactly as long as the S.1 Buccaneer took to develop. For those familiar with the latter, it was simply a fantastic model, and waiting for two years for this model will have been well worth the wait.

Bravo Flying Stations ... she looks superb!

Excellent news!! The aircraft looks brilliant, and I know this will be a very fun aircraft to explore and to fly in FSX.

I feel myself breathing a sigh of relief ...at last . Been a long time waiting for anybody to do one ... :)

Thanks for the patience, some real life issues stepped in the way. Almost there.

A deviation of a meme came to my mind....
"Give that beast polygons.... beasts looooove polygons" :icon_lol:
Beautifull model, can't wait to see it from closer. :ernae:

Very nice rendition of the aircraft! :applause:
What´s that below the plane? Rocket assisted takeoff? Didn´t know that it was used by naval aviation too.

Yes, called RATOG (rocket takeoff gear) in RAF/RN FAA parlance.

Awesome progress Sketch and crew!!

I am particularly impressed with the carrier landing in the video... nice job!!
:applause:

Another Superb Model and excellent value for money...thankyou. Took her for a spin off Victorious with RATOG assistance...marvelous. Now I must get back to work.... looking forward to having more time to play:jump:

Been waiting on this for a very long time......purchased...flew....loved it!!! Now bring on the paints!!! lol

Here are some VC shots. It can be quite dark at times (though natural for an all-black painted cockpit : ) ), and it is full of details and functionality.
