There seems to be an uptick in Political comments in recent months. Those of us who are long time members of the site know that Political and Religious content has been banned for years. Nothing has changed. Please leave all political and religious comments out of the forums.
If you recently joined the forums you were not presented with this restriction in the terms of service. This was due to a conversion error when we went from vBulletin to Xenforo. We have updated our terms of service to reflect these corrections.
Please note any post refering to a politician will be considered political even if it is intended to be humor. Our experience is these topics have a way of dividing the forums and causing deep resentment among members. It is a poison to the community. We appreciate compliance with the rules.

Well, I'm one of those computer challenged individuals. Could not get to anything resembling a download for this airplane. Anybody want to send me a p.m. with the link?

Although I have not yet downloaded it, I am assuming from the original thread posts that the FS9 model also works well in FSX, even though an FSX update appears to be imminent. http://www.sectionf8.com/
Jon is working dilligently on wrapping up the coding on ours so we can get her in to beta testing. So we have no firm, or even guesstimated date at this point when she will hit the store. Once we get her into beta and we start nailing down some features/eliminating the basic bugs going to give you guys some more info.
Right after I posted my initial inquiry, I noticed the thread about Milviz's F86. It looks really good. Since it is a dedicated FSX product, there should be no issues with seeing outside from inside the virtual cockpit. Thanks Roadburner 440 for the heads up.
Again, nobody take any offense at me, but it has been my limited experience that if you want an FSX airplane it is best to wait for a "Native" version. Far less hassels that way.

If you have a link, I'd appreciate getting it. Seems like the Section 8 Download Center takes me to OZx website. I have found paints for the Section 8 F-86 there but not the base model. So I could use a point.
Thank You.
You'll find repaints on nearly every page going forward from there.Last but not least, FS9 SP: "sf86efu1.zip" http://www.simviation.com/simviation/?type=item&ID=86&page=6
The Base Pack: "sf86ef.zip" is also on that page near the top...Don
