A Lockheed "Rounder"

right, just fired up photoshop... it's 0745(ish) i can work flat out till 1100 then get geared up for an afternoon at EGBB doing some spotting... well, you did say to relax didn't ya's? :icon_lol:

well erm.... as long as Milton doesn't mind repositioning Gauges we should be fine here... just working on the VC Panel Texture, might even do one to hold one of the Garmin GPS Screens somewhere.... no tern left unstoned.... :icon_lol: even now i've still gotta take my assault boots to it and kick it into submission...*Coughs* best way to beat it up a bit y'know :icon_lol:

Matt,

I think that looks great. Nice work. Impressive. :)

Right now I have patterned the panel bmp after the attached template and real world photo of one under restoration. I like the looks of the old one but a nice alternative would work as well. :) The middle photo shows what I have setup in the panel cfg with working gauges.

I would say use the template as a "guide" for size and placement and we would be very close to real world. It seems that you are alrready there or close. Repositioning and resizing gauges are not an issue.

thanks Milton, will get back to it today... had a nice relaxed afternoon at EGBB yesterday, took some photos, so i'm now recharged and relaxed (well a tiny bit more relaxed) for those interested i have uploaded my EGBB Photos here: Matts EGBB Afternoon

so now it's back to work on the Harpoon.... :salute:

Bravo!

Great progress on both exteriors and VC Matt! :applause:

This could be your best yet, so use your time allowance with the eyes carefully, don't let anything sidetrack you and stay focused buddy.

got a bit more done before headache and eye strain kicked in, already i'm noticing i'm slowly getting the eye 'retrained' and it's gradually causing less and less eye strain... still i'm happy with this, yoke mounts have been recoloured as has panel top, now just to sort that rear section.... "Finally!" i hear you all say :icon_lol:

Matt, that is a later model D with that nose. I will be doing that nose change for Taigh Ramey once we have this model settled.

yeah.... but you know simmers.... there are a few out there of the "i want it all, and i want it now" category :icon_lol:

luckily for them they haven't crossed my path.... :blind:

not much more to do now trying to spread the workload over the day...

Matt,

When you are ready, send me what you have so that I may look at what else needs to be done with the model, mapping and textures, or any missing tidbits I may have overlooked. No hurry.

Thanks

will do, just attempting to tidy up a few bits an' pieces... but i'll send what i have done so far as i tidy... what scale you want them? FS2004 scale 1024*1024?

:salute:

Getting much closer to a beta ...

I am surprised (although I shouldn't be) at the beauty of Matt's interior work on the Harpoon, and that he has not posted pictures.

Just going around the aircraft to check for things left to do (long list :-/) and could not help but take these screen shots.

The details, the subtle shading, it all works perfectly.

Matt, you have done an awesome job here! Thank you. :applause: :medals:

Milton, do you have plans for a civil version much like you did for the AT-11 and the Grizzly?
