Had a good long look at those screenshots, and I think I'll wait for the FS Add-Ons Anson package..
Well Stiz...someone's been busy.
So it looks like we may have 2 Ansons coming along so let's make sure we show a little respect for both designs and designers
Seriously??
The 19 is the one I particularly want.
This one by any chance?

I've photographed her at Old Warden quite a few times this year. I'd pay many hundreds of pounds for a ride in this beauty! I'd absolutely love to have an FS version![]()
Spectacular! This is one I've been hoping for for years. A definite must have. And A2A of course will do a quality job.
I must say though that the screenshots give a misleading impression of the size of the cockpit interior. Its looks relatively roomy. Understandable, you can only do so much on a computer. But in reality though it's very cramped. At the Australian War Memorial they have an genuine Anson cockpit set up as part of their Coastal Command display. The cockpit is literally no wider than open arms width. Really surprising when you see it up close. You gotta wonder just how pilots managed to move around with all their flight gear on - or how they managed to bail out in a hurry!
Climbing into the Anson is a mission even with only a camera and small pack , getting in the door in today's clothing made it a little easier ... you have to give a thought for the guys back in the late 1930s and early 40s and to think you are going to get out quickly would be a different matter , it dose have two roof escape hatch's , i'm 6ft and skinny as a rake handle and i mentioned this to the staff at the Wigram Museum - it is one heck of glass house as well - no protection at all .. fortunate it was only on secondary duties in the firing line .You gotta wonder just how pilots managed to move around with all their flight gear on - or how they managed to bail out in a hurry!
