After the war Squadron leader Hans Maurenbacher became the Commander of Royal Netherlands Air Force. After his retirement in 1963 he did an attempt to be come the first sailor who sailed around the world solo. On May 28 1966 he left Cairns (Australia) on his way to Thursday Island. July 1966 he disappeared near the great barrier rif and was never seen again.

Yes, it is heavy on the FPS, but that's what you get with such a large number of objects on the ground.

Just sharing a few recent screenshots I made while testing some new freeware autogen addons that go on top of photosceneries.
Some guys on French forums are working on some new techniques to build mass autogen based on real data like openstreetmap, or others stuff like automatic tree detection on photo tiles, etc...
The photo scenery is from France VFR, it covers the French Alps. It has no autogen at all by default, but as you can see, the freeware autogen will do

And these are the latest version, with even more precise autogen building placement.
I coud push FSX settings to almost the maximum here. Autogen is at max, and autogen tweaks are removed from the FSX.cfg. Forests look like... forests !
And Wozza's Texan with a John Terrell repaint of course.
