There seems to be an up tick in Political commentary in recent months. Those of us who are long time members of the site we know that Political and Religious content has been banned for years. Nothing has changed. Please leave all political and religiours commentary out of the fourms.
If you recently joined the forums you were not presented with this restriction in the terms of service. This was due to a conversion error when we went from vBulletin to Xenforo. We have updated our terms of service to reflect these corrections.
Please note any post refering to a politicion will be considered political even if it is intended to be humor. Our experience is these topics have a way of dividing the forums and causing deep resentment amoung members. It is a poison to the community. We apprciate compliance with the rules.

Assume it is nothing like Lock-On or Falcon but do you actually hit AA targets and then see them burn and crash? Same for those who like mud moving?
i bought the Iris A-10 and the VRS Tacpac,i installed the A-10 first and then tacpac....a potload of tacpas "blocks" are now in my aircraft preview/selection area,,as is the A-10....but how do i set it up to have active arms when i start the A-10?....
yes ive looked at the tacpac wiki page...but i dont follow that.....ADD/ADHD is showing its ugly head again.
When Tacpack asks to allow you to run gauges and dlls say yes to all of them. Tacpack must be allowed tp run when FSX starts. From that point on, anything that has Tacpack integrated should find it and use it. I have set up my Tacpack to ask me each time FSX starts, if Tacpack should also start, that way it will not be resident for planes that do not use it, tying up memory and processor cycles.
If Tacpack is running, you will have extra selections in the Addons menu item. If they are there then the A-10 should be able to access the weapons selection panel and be able to launch loaded weapons and be shot down by SAMs.
I recommend you watch the tutorial videos provided by the developer of the A-10. I had the FSX running and the Youtube video running at the same time so I could follow along. It is somewhat complicated to launch the laser guided stuff and took me multiple times through the video to get all the steps down pat. As they say practice, practice, practice.

The standalone package will work with any aircraft that has been modified to use it, not to many yet, but now that it's a stand alone product I am guessing the number will go up.I bought TACPACK when it first came out with the Superbug, but have never even tried it. So, as I understand it, the standalone package will still only work with aircraft like the Superbug and Dino's creations? NC

If you have purchased the Superbug and Tacpack combo, that will also work with Dino and Iris's Tacpack products. You will have to update to the latest version of Tacpack and the associated Superbug for it to work though. They are both available for free to existing customers.
