btw.
To see something in front of my nose is very difficult, especially when lading. I know model has an edited point of view but it isnt work with Track IR (it resets every time). I think for better view its a good idea to do next view from VC in up position (next A key from VC).

Grumman did have a seat jack for landing but proper approach and landing can be accomplished routinely without it....similar to Corsair curved approach method developed by Brits for carrier landings

Still playing around with the paint kit.

Dave, the two are the same outfit. The fact that you have to have two accounts may be something to do with the whole EU thing. You probably need to ask them. The F3F-2 is available in Oz from them now but that is where we are so....

Cheers Bazzar:encouragement: As each day passes.. this whole 'EU' thing ticks me off more and more. Come the revolution...

Easily fixed by changing the "eyepoint" setting in the aircraft.cfg file. This makes a permanent adjustment, not automatically reset by TrackiR.

I'd be happy for a suggestion on this Ed. I don't have any difficulty landing her on a runway but for carriers.. it's a nightmare. Not tried her with TIR yet.

Need some help with the Gulfhawk paint. There is some text near the front between the two stripes that I cannot make out. Here is the best pic of that area that I can find. If anyone knows what this text says it would sure be great, thanks.

As I find trapping this little tinker virtually impossible.. I thought I'd try with TrackIR today. Thought it would be nice to dial some real weather in.. it's lovely and clear up in the Midlands..

NOT so off the south coast! The camo on Shangri-La is very effective!!

It did start to clear so I dragged a few mates along for effect..

I actually got it down with TIR:jump:

TDR, that looks marvelous. :applouse:

Anyone here seen the movie "Dive Bomber" from 1941, full color, starring Fred McMurray. I have this one so ready. I do my own graphics such as the FIGHTING SIX insignia, all are vector graphics, nothing is copied. Even the National Insignia is self made. And I purchased real Long Beach Font, which is used.
