We are currently at work on a patch to address a couple of issues and we have adopted your landing view position YoYo (OK with you?) and also now have the pilot rising in his seat in exterior view when the canopy opens.:engel016:

Bazz, since you are working on a patch, I noticed the needle on the manifold pressure gauge disappears behind some of the numbers on the dial, most notably between 15-25 and around 40.
 
OK well it seems we're damned if we do and we're damned if we don't so I am removing it from the patch so there is no complication. The new camera view will be there.:engel016:
 
OK here's the compromise. The pilot will be on Shift/E2 (second door) so if you want him up press that otherwise he stays where he is.:engel016:

personally I think the pilot animation is accurate and therefore necessary...
