Just when you think you have everything running some what better...

You get a message from the Hosting company. Short story they need to move us to a new server. I have been working with them to plan a good date for all concerned. Here is what we have come up with as a schedule.

    1. November 4th 17:00 -5UTC shut off the forums and start backup proceedures. During this time there will be no access to the forums or the Resource Section.
    2. November 5th Continue with Backups and download same until complete.
    3. November 6th 7:00 turn over server to hosting company to move system to new server
    4. November 7th - 8th restore backups and upgrade forum software.

If all goes well we should be back online on November 8th.

To keep you updated we will post updates on AVSIM forums.

    Thank you for your support.

Good News Aeroplane Heavens B-17F Out

What a great plane. Thanks AH people! I figured I needed a Pacific Theater B-17, so I started working on this one. 63rd BS, 43rd BG. Still has a few issues that need work, but coming along nice so far.

Barry... its very nice but can I ask... on the Miami Clipper model is that an error where the partially obscured white letters appear in front of the fuselage insignia? Looks odd.

Anyone have any tips on how to purchase? The site will not allow me to type my e-mail address! So, can't proceed from there.

Same here. That sucks. Each time I enter my e-mail address, it turns pink and will not go any further. I had no problem getting the F3F-2 from the AH site. Me thinks there is a problem with Sellfy. Sorry, Baz. No sale today.

Back from a first test hop. Very pleasing! The flight model feels good and there's a lot of functionalities.
I also love how the exhaust wobbles and the blades of the turbos turn (I'm a sucker for details like that). Also like the configurable crew and the animation of the turrents and crew. Great stuff.

Cheers,
Mark

Shouldn't be any probs with Selfy if you are in a NON-EU country. Otherwise use the other vendors sites. FlightSim Shop have yet to notify they have it up and Just Flight will be this coming week.:engel016:

No problem with Selfy USA/Ohio . I was using Chrome . Great Fortress and looking forward to putting some serious hours on it .
