FSX Hunting Percival Pembroke released!

Many thanks Rob:ernaehrung004:...oh and I did add a 3 blade prop alpha to the prop texture...just personal preference.

Great screenshots Roger!
But the prop discs................
The only time you see the strobe effect is when a prop is turning very slowly or on an old Tom Mix movie when the stagecoach comes into town!
Having studied the subject I have included three different textures for the Pembroke prop, one for just the blades, one for prop slow with strobe and one for prop blurred with no strobe.
I think this is the most realistic but I do understand your point of view, Microsoft always use the effect on all their props:untroubled:.

What a gem of a model! Looks good, flies good, sounds good. This is a perfect model for flying around local/state small airfields. Am eagerly awaiting more repaints for this bird.

Thanks Rob!

Great job on the Pembroke Rob! It's funny that even at my age, I've seen far more props at the cinema or on tv than in real life and hence preferring the strobe effect.

Let me join the chorus and say thank you Rob, I love the Pembroke!

In P3D v3 it triggers a couple of "content errors", but you will undoubtedly have noticed those yourself. If I recall correctly, 3 missing textures, and it doesn't like the "file=" entries in the VCockpit sections of panel.cfg. I hacked a bit here and there and got rid of the errors. :)

Going to attempt a Danish air force paint when I get the time for it.

Penz,
It quite clearly states that ALL aircraft on the props download page are for FSX Only!
You must have missed that!

Lol sorry Rob, I guess I was mislead by the beautiful P3Dv3 screenshots of the Pembroke on your front page. :p

And it's really no issue at all, it's the price I pay for being an early adopter. Thanks again.

After the Alouette another one from my past in the Royal Dutch Air Force. I had never heard of this aircraft until the RAF started an scheduled flight between the UK and Germany. I was working at the first airfield they could land on after they had crossed the North Sea from the UK, or the last airfield before they had to cross the North Sea when they came back from Germany.

It didn't speak for the performance of this aircraft that we soon knew several RAF crews......

Thanks for this great model, it brought back some precious memories!

Cheers,
Huub

Just uploaded to BritSim(available now) and FlightSim.com(should be available tomorrow). First repaint for Rob's Pembroke. A CAFU machine which will complement the Chipmunk and the two DH125 paints.

Nice paintjob Peter.

I went ahead and downloaded it from BritSim.

Thanks, Manfred.
Quite a few in progress - several RAF in various schemes, Danish military and civil, Swedish military, Sudan military, Luftwaffe and Kriegsmarine, Belgian military, and another British civil example!

Cheers, Peter W:ernaehrung004:

Both military and civilian Danish - thank you Sir!

The civilian Danish one, is that OY-AVA? :)

Great looking paint Peter:applause: but there seems to some differences between Rob's layout of texture sheets pem_5.dds and pem_6.dds and yours. I wonder if Rob made some later changes?

Don't think there were any late changes Roger, what are the differences?
