My MSFS2020 standard just got upgraded to premium deluxe !

I have MSFS2020 in standard edition.
I also have MSFS2024 in premium deluxe edition.

Yesterday, I got a mandatory update for MSFS2020. After that update, my hangar was containing all of the premium-deluxe aircraft that I couldn't see before, including the Boeing 787, the Baron and the C172 with gauges. A very nice surprise

And now you might want to double check your Content Manager what other packeges are ready to install - just a suggestion .....

Same here. I had Standard in 2020 but got Deluxe for 2024. My 2020 was just updated to Deluxe. It's a nice touch from Asobo, although I rarely fly default
aircraft any more.

I fired up the sim earlier this week and got updates to the five that I received with my "Deluxe" mid-tier purchase, but I haven't seen the top-level planes yet. I'll have to fire it up again either this evening or tomorrow and see what happens. I'd really like to get that Citation with the Garmin panel.

If it's a true upgrade, you should have the extra airports too. I'll have to check that too.

Well - no such luck here. No premium content either in the Marketplace or Content Manager.

And after re-reading everything, it appears that it's because of the higher package purchase of FS2024. I have yet to buy into that one. I'm waiting for it to get to somewhere close to 2020 as far as reliability.

Yes I also think it must be linked to having the premium deluxe version of MSFS2024, indeed.
I have checked my content manager but couldn't find anything additional in the "not installed", excepted the useless missions and other world updates I chose not to install in the past. So nothing new in there.

I have just quickly checked a few of the "new" planes though. The C172 is way above my expectations, especially the night lighting in the cockpit. It could become one of my favorites for short flights in VR at dusk or dawn... The only sad thing is, the LOD0 files are not visible, which means I can't add a visible copilot in the cockpit. This sucks.

Same for the Baron and I suppose all the others, I won't be able to get a visible copilot for them.
I mean, it was very nice from Asobo to make these planes available, but they just HAD TO ruin it, didn't they?....
