TBD-1 DEVASTATOR
V2.80.57
This aircraft was built using version 2.80.57 of the 714's Assembly Line and contains the newly developed Reality-X (RX) functions. The TBD-1 is based on Microsoft's default TBD model. The 1% TBD-1 make use of Bruce Thorson's modification of the default visual model to display a Virtual Cockpit and has the rear gunner modifacation. Rick Spork (Smashing Time) has created an outstanding historically accurate custom re-paint of the Douglas TBD-1 Devastator as an aircraft assigned to VT-2, USS Lexington, May 1942. It is one of the three stock naval aircraft he repainted that participated in early Pacific Theater engagements, including the Battle of the Coral Sea, 7 May 1942.
