Semi Historical: This is the first combat mission for the 386th BG. A strike on the airfield located at Woensdrecht, Holland, perhaps a little payback for the 322nd's demise back in May. You fly out of Boxted 24 B-26's participate, one is lost, one is damaged beyond repair and five are damaged. seven wia, six mias. Flying the Mission: You take off at 06:00hrs from Boxted Airfield, England. Make sure to set your flaps fully extended. Remember a B-26 will bite your head off if you don't keep focussed. This is a medium level bomb run. You gain altitude until reaching 10,000ft. Drop your payload and head for home.
