Bf-110C-4/B ZERSTORER - JABO (Fighter/Bomber) version
CFS3 - V2.85.09
AvHistory 1% Aircraft General Statement and Installation Instructions
It is the intention of the AvHistory 1% project to over time build the most accurate aircraft that the CFS3 software can support. The development of a 1% aircraft requires specific and in many cases dramatic changes to the aircraft delivered with the MS game as well as the addition of aircraft built from the ground up by third parties which were never included in the original MS game. We believe that because the AvHistory 1% aircraft are materially different they should not be mixed with "box stock" aircraft in online combat.
All the planes 1% listed for download are qualified for use in our AvHistory William Tell Meet Air Combat Ladder. For information and to get the sign up sheet for the ladder please go to the LINKS section at http://www.avhistory.org
No AvHistory 1% aircraft maybe provided for download from any site without express written consent of AvHistory. Additionally, direct linking to our download site is forbidden.
Bf-110C-4/B ZERSTORER - JABO
This aircraft was built by Gregory SARGE Pierson using version 2.82.98 of the AvHistory 1% Assembly Line process. It is based on the excellent Zerstorer created by James Grimes.
The Bf 110C-4/B was a Zerstorer (or Heavy Fighter) for the Luftwaffe which had been converted over to the Jabo role of fighter-bombing during 1940. The Bf 110C-4/B began arriving in time for the Battle of Britain. It featured a DB 601N engine which had improved power over the DB 601A that the Bf 110C-3 utilized.
James painted this particular machine as one which served with Erprobungsgruppe 210 at Calais-Marck in October, 1940. EGr 210 was an experimental group set up to test the C-4/B and to develop appropriate combat tactics for the new version.
We would ask that you take time to review James original readme which has additional information and credits for this fine aircraft. The readme also containes a map/pictures of all the instruments and controls in the cockpit and is very interesting.
