Semi-Historical: Your mission is to provide escort duties. On December 20, 1942 the 91st Bomber Group, Eighth Air Force conducted a mission to bomb the aero park and airdrome at Romilly-Sur-Seine. Spitfire Mk Vs from the 4th Fighter Group would provide escort duties. At this time Allied fighter escort of the bombers was limited by the Spitfire's range. At about 100 miles in from the continental coast the bombers would be without their little friends
