8th FG USAAF Airacobra PNG skinpack 3 by UncleTgt
This is a collection of skins for use with Allen's recently reworked OH P-39 Airacobra for CFS 2. These repaints depict aircraft at different times during operations with 8th Fighter Group USAAF whilst fighting the Japanese in Papua New Guinea during 1942-43.
The aircraft in this pack represent:
P-39D 35th FS, 8th FG Port Moresby PNG, June '42. Pilot was Lt Jim Egan
P-39D 36th FS, 8th FG Milne Bay PNG, December '42. Pilot was Lt. Don McGee
P-39Q 36th FS, 8th FG Port Moresby PNG, July '43.
P-39Q 36th FS, 8th FG, Port Moresby PNG, October '43.
To install, unzip the download to a temporary folder. Use as replacement textures with the relevant P39 model as appropriate.
Thanks to The B24 Guy for the Overhaul of the MS original a/c. Allen for his reworking to improve the VC & cockpit graphics. The B24 Guy for his model fix to correct occasional distant LOD model display issues. This is freeware and subject to the usual conditions.
