Repaint for the A2A B-17G in the colors of B-17G-40-VE 42-98021, which was given to the RAF in the summer of 1944. 42-98021 became Fortress III HB791 of the Coastal Command's 220 Squadron. It was assigned call letters ZZ-T and flew out of Lages, Azores for coastal patrols and a bit of sub hunting. Was normally equipped with 12-400lb bombs or 16-250lb depth charges. The cheek guns were removed and the ball turret was replaced with radar, like a 8th AF pathfinder. It was transferred to the 521 Squadron in 31 Aug 1945, where it became the last B-17 used by the RAF before being Struck Off Charge and sold to International Alloys on 11 March 1947.
Repaint by Will "dafraz48" Turner, based on the A2A paint kit, January 2015.
