This folder contains a repaint for the A2A WoP3 P-51D Mustang (with AccuSim), in the colors of P-51D-20-NA #44-14042 E9-Y "Heaven sent~Hell bent", which was the aircraft assigned to Captain Robert D. Schirmer of the 376 FS/361st FG, based in Bottisham, UK. After his tour ended, the aircraft was assigned to Capt James Smith as E9-Y Daisy Mae II, but was written off during a take-off crash on 7 oct. 1944, which left Capt Smith uninjured.
