This folder contains a repaint for the A2A Wings of Power III P-47D Thunderbolt, representing P-47D-23 42-26316, of the 63rd FS, 56th FG. This aircraft was flown by Captain Joseph R. Curtis, early 1944. It was shot down on 21 Sept 1944, with the pilot, Lt Oscar L Cagle Jr, being KIA. Repaint by Jan Kees Blom, based on the paint kit by Martin Catney.
