This folder contains a repaint for the A2A Spitfire in the colors of Spitfire Mk Vc AR556 which flew with 1435 Squadron from Malta. It was one of the few Spitfires that was flown directly from Gibraltar to Malta, and also one of the few Spitfires on the island without the tropical filter below the nose. It seems to have been painted in one single color on top, interpreted by Brian Cauchi as PRU blue. The aircraft was lost on 18 march 1943.
Repaint by Jan Kees Blom, based on the paint kit by A2A.
