"Marie", flown by Major Fred F. Ohr, Commanding Officer of the 2nd Fighter Squadron, 52nd Fighter Group, 15th AF. Major Ohr was the only WW2 flying ace of Asian descent with six aerial kills and recipient of the Silver Star with two Oak Leaf Clusters, the Distinguished Flying Cross with two Oak Leaf Clusters, the Bronze Star, and the Air Medal with 18 Oak Leaf Clusters. Some of these were awarded after flying escort in support of the famous bombing campaign of the Ploesti oil refineries.
This repaint is made possible from using John O'Reilly's original WOP II P-51 'Marie' repaint. I want to thank John for his help and permission to repaint this and upload it.
