This folder contains a repaint for the Fairchild C-119 Flying Boxcar by Aeroplane Heaven, in the colors of Fairchild C-119 N15501 wore for the film 'Flight of the Phoenix', with registration H01810-H. It was built as c/n 10955 and went to the RCAF as 22130. It flew with the RCAF until 1967. In 1970, it became NX15501 and was owned by Aircraft International Associates untl 1976, when it went to Hawkins Powers Aviation in Greybull, WY as tanker #138. It was stored from 1990 until 2002, when it was made airworthy again for the film 'Flight of the Phoenix'. It flew to Namibia, for the filming in 2003, and back to Greybull in 2004. It was bought by Hans Lauridsen in 2006 at at present is in Phoenix, Arizona. It registration was cancelled in 2014.
