This folder contains a repaint for the P_47D-25 Bubbletop by Aeroplane Heaven, in the colors of P-47D-30-RA 44-33252 #27 "Ole Baldy"as flown by Capt John Batten of the 525th FS, 86th FG, Italy 1944-45. When he was still a lieutenant, Capt was already suffering from a receding hairline, so naturally his squadron mates called him "Baldy". When he was promoted to captain, this became "Ole Baldy."
